[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think being able to customize the intensity of the product is very nice. Especially since doing the minimum recommended drops in your lotion will provide a light bronzing, whereas adding more drops will apply slightly more of a tint. Originally my gut was thinking this would be great for tan lines, and it really could be. As long as the tan lines is not severe. My boyfriend has a crazy tan line where his watch sits and while it helped a bit (with the max recommended drops), it couldn’t really touch that tan line. I then decided to tape off a heart on some of my skin that tans poorly. I was pleasantly surprised at how natural the distinction was between the skin the was covered and the skin the product was applied to. While this product is not meant to tan your whole body. The last test I did with it was on my face. I think the result was fairly natural and even my own partner who was completely unaware of the application made no comments about the change in complexion. I am unsure of the build ability, but I think there are definitely suitable applications for this product. Fixing my boyfriend’s harsh tan line probably isn’t on that list though.

I used much more than the suggested amount on the bottle and barely saw any color the next day. I think you need to use it every day and build up color over time, which is not how it is advertised.

The first time I tried a brush with 4 drops and saw no difference. Then I tried 6 and still couldn’t see much of a tan. I’m pretty fair skinned. It is a very thin formula. I like that it isn’t as scented as other tanning products.

I originally had intentions of taking a before and after of my face but the summer and baseball season had other plans. I admit I was skeptical because I didn’t want it leaving a ring or spots on my face but I spent every weekend on the ball field so I don’t think I was fully able to see the results. I absolutely plan on using this at the end of summer to extend my summer glow! I see it being a more seasonal product for me because I tan so easily. You can see the the photo of my hand, I accidentally got a few drops on my hands the other night when putting it away and the next morning had these spots. I knew I should have washed my hands but figure it at least shows the color does show up!

But the consistency is nice and adding it to the moisturizer does not affect the drying time from what I’ve noticed.
