I have been using this product for years. It has been a staple in my makeup bag.
Since September 2025 I have been trying many brands and have found them all to be lacking, either in formula or design.
Please strongly consider bringing it back. Nothing compares !

I've been using this on for almost 10 years. It seriously is the best one. It doesn't smudge and is very easy to wash off or correct. I'm so sad I can't find it in stores or online

I’ve been using this eye liner for 17 years! Disappointed I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. I figured it was being discontinued. Going to have to hunt around town tomorrow stock up if I can! This eye liner was the perfect combination - the liquid, the tip, the size of the applicator…it will be missed!

PLEASE BRING BACK BROWN/BLACK!!! I have worn winged eyeliner every single day for the past 16 years. This has been my favorite eyeliner since I was 12 years old and in the 6th grade. I am now a 28 year old adult and so so so sad that the very last drop of my Brown/Black eyeliner is finally gone after nursing it along for YEARS since it’s been discontinued. I’ve tried every brown eyeliner out there and NOTHING compares. The black shade is far too harsh on my skin tone. Please, I’m begging on my knees, BRING BACK THE BROWN/BLACK SHADE!

The applicator has a fuzzy felt tip texture that is round/blunted on the end. Horrible for creating sharp crisp lines. The formula/shade blackest black is anything but the blackest black. Severely lacking pigment and unless layered multiple times you will not get a "blackest black" result. Complete waste of money.

I absolutely love this eyeliner, but need the brownish black to come back! The black is just too harsh on my fair skin. The brownish black color was perfect! I have tried over 20 different eyeliners trying to find something comparable and nothing is the same! PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE BROWNISH BLACK!!!!!

the applicator is super nice. you can make such a sharp line with it, and after like a few seconds of it drying you're is no transform and the best part is ut is super liquid but it doesn't bleed, it stays and barely rubs off.

This is the best eyeliner and I have used it for years, I have tried replacing it with your other lines and they are not near as good of a product as the line stiletto. I too have even tried the black version and it is too dark for my skin/eye coloring. We have supported you Maybelline for years and now even wasted money on new products per your suggestions while trying to stay faithful to you. PLEASE bring back the line stiletto in the brownish black color. Nothing else compares !!!!!

This was one of the very best eye-liner products I have used for lining the lower lid. Then they discontinued the Brownish-black. Black eyeliner is readily available, but brownish black versions are extremely hard to find. So very disappointed in this decision. I am posting a review here in hopes that Maybelline will step up to the plate and note how many users have exactly the same sentiment as me.

This is the ONLY eyeliner i have loved for years.. i have been using it since highschool so more than 8 years. Very upsetting to see that they discontinued the brownish black despite SO many customers begging to bring it back. I agree the blackest black does not wear the same - it actually irritates my eyes and flakes off. All of the other eyeliners that the company suggests in its place are disappointing and do not compare to the brownish black in this formula. Maybelline, you should reconsider.

There are so many comments from those of us who used this color. I need to look professional at work. All of the blacks are too dark including the forest brown. Please bring it back. I can not wear the permanent/waterproof.

It is very easy to apply the width you want. It goes on smoothly and lasts all day. However, they have stopped making brownish black and the black is too harsh of a color for me. I am searching for another product that works as well.
