Great color/pigment for the first 2 weeks, now there is no color! Its the craziest thing. Now I just have a gloss. Very disappointing. I see that this is happening to a lot of the reviewers so I am not sure if this is a specific batch but now I have a gloss

Disappointing

Bought it after hearing it hyped up on social media. I bought the colour "Upbeat" because I was looking for a lighter pink. The product is not pink at all, lands somewhere between coral-orange for me. I could maybe deal with the colour if it didn't ALSO go on very cakey no matter what kind of prep I do on my lips. It's a no from me.

My favorite lip product isn’t the same anymore

I’ve been using this product for a long time, and it has always been my favorite lip product. For the past several months, I’ve been buying it from different stores hoping to find a good one, but every single one I’ve purchased recently has had almost no pigment. It looks more like a clear gloss than the beautiful vinyl lip color it used to be. I’m really disappointed because I used to love the formula, the shades, the shine, and how long it lasted. Now I honestly don’t know what to do because I can’t seem to find one that works the way it used to. I really hope Maybelline looks into this, because this was truly my go-to lip product.

Pigment left the oil smh

After few months pigment was gone and it separated with the oil. I got a new one last December, I hope pigment won’t fade this time. But will update this review on June, giving it 6 mos coz that’s what happened to the old one. Now, I’m using the old one as lip gloss 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s a lie!!!

I bought this couple of days ago at walmart. It was a waste of money. I had it on for over 3 hours and still wasn’t dry. It’s very disappointing because it was not supposed to smudge or transfer on anything. It was very sticky. I will never buy again. I wish I could refund my money.

I bought one shade and loved it applied great and was just as long wear as promoted. I bought to others and was disappointed- they had different results the one was much stickier and the other color wicked was more of a fuscia pink than a nice blue tone red lipstick and very sticky and didn’t dry. Product quality not consistent with colors.

But over time, that changed. After just a few months, I noticed the color payoff started to fade. It felt more like a tinted gloss than a long-wear lipstick. One of the shades I own even developed clumps, no matter how much I shook it or tried to mix it. Something in the formula just isn’t holding up. I honestly feel disappointed. I was so excited about it at first, but now I feel a bit scammed. It didn’t even last a full year in good condition. I expected way more for the price.

Wow! I havent worn lipstick in 15 yrs due to fine lines, the lipstick crawls outwards on every one! My daughter is getting married and i cant show up bared faced. I read reviews on all long wears and this one was the best for longevity, feel, and shine so I got composer matt and royal vinyl. Both are fab although i always lean towards the darker side. The wear is phenomenal and, lines? Well, they arent eliminated entirely and I dont mind them cause after all im not 40 anymore. But the lipstick stays exactly where I put it. Im thinking composer and top it with royal. It indeed looks like vinyl! I couldnt be happier!

I Love the colour Awestruck but somewhere in the process the SKU numbers got mixed up and Golden is being sent instead I wonder if the reason it's discontinued is because it's being returned so much due to the mislabeling. I've purchased Witty at least 10 times but if Awestruck (the actual Awestruck) were brought back that's the one I'd buy since it's the perfect cool toned pink

Q: Is there an expiration date in terms of pigment. I bought a new one, unopened 3 months ago. I shook it for 5 sec, opened it and it is hardly pigmented. More of a clear colour and did not last at all.
