INSTANT AGE REWIND® INSTANT PERFECTOR 4-IN-1 MATTE MAKEUP

Just found this and love it! Blends really well with the right makeup brush and looks so soft and natural! Will most definitely be repurchasing!

I have been a die hard and loyal Maybelline customer for years. Many years ago, I loved the whipped matte mousse make-up but was always disappointed that Maybelline didn’t have more inclusive shade ranges. I wore the caramel color for years which was way too dark for my skin tone. Again there is only 1 medium option for South East Asian skin tones in this Instant Age Perfector range. There is only 2 medium options and one is way too light and way too dark for my skin tone. I wear golden caramel in the Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation and it matches my skin tone closely but not quite exactly. I wish Maybelline would expand the shade range throughout all lines. It’s disappointing that Maybelline has continued to ignore an entire segment of skin tones. You’re owned by the largest beauty conglomerate in the world but can’t seem to provide more shade options in the US but there are products specifically made for sale in India and the UK. The Indian diaspora around the world is larger than most populations, please start making shade options that are more inclusive in all lines rather than a select few. Please do better Maybelline!!!

This product is intended to be used as a primer / concealer / foundation - a.k.a the base of your make up. But everytime I apply this product after skincare, it is SO CAKEY. I have to pat it down with a sponge for it to settle nicely.

I really like this 4 in one product. It layers well over sunblock, I don’t need to use a primer or set with powder. I applied with a beauty blender and patted it on. I tried applying it with my fingers, but it did not have the same blurring effect. I have large pores on my nose and have tried a lot of products that claim to blur pores that did not work. This is one of the only foundation like product I have found that actually blurs and makes them look better. It also blurs the look of fine lines.

I don't like the feel of heavy foundation and my skin tends to get very oily with it. This almost feels more like skincare than makeup. And it lasts all day with great lightweight but full coverage. I have wasted money on expensive foundations, but this one is the best, and it is affordable.

I’ve been searching for a lightweight cc cream type of product for years but could never find one in my shade - I’m extremely pale with red undertones. I saw this and decided to give it a whack and omg it’s amazing! It matches my skin plus makes it feel super soft. If you have my kind of skin def use this in fair light and their instant age rewind concealer in brightener 05. Thank you maybelline! :)

Not a fan of this product. I have combination skin and was looking for a lightweight foundation that would even out my skin tone. While this does go on quite smoothly it dries my skin out and makes me look older than my actual age. Not really an age rewind if you know what I mean.

Very disapointed in this product. Does not cover well. Felt and looked like a tinted moisturizer. Did not even out skin tone at all. Settled in every little line and made them much more noticeable. I usually use Instant age rewind but this was the closest the store had. I ended up applying 4 times and still didn't even out skin tone. Ended up going without foundation until I can get something different which I haven't done in 30 plus years! Very disapointed in Maybeline for putting out such an inferior product!

This product is exactly what it claims it blends like a bb cream it evens your skin tone it has a matte finish without being drying. You can’t feel it on your skin it feels like I’m wearing nothing. It blends easily with your fingers and it doesn’t cake or crumble. Love it!

I have never been a "foundation" gal. I faithfully used Becca Matte primer with a little setting powder on top. I'm 55 with oily skin. They discontinued my Becca and I was desperate and tried this... the first time I used way too much and it looked awful but the secret is A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY... use a little and this looks like you but with smoother skin. I love it. I use light/medium and have light olive skin with brown hair and green eyes, for reference.

Definitely the worst foundation I have ever used. Does not go on smooth at all. I tried with and without moisturizer underneath - didn't matter. I ended up throwing it away, don't waste your money on this.

I just purchased this and it's only filled less than half way. Very disappointing. Please do better Maybelline.

This is my new holy grail. I was using NYX Bare With Me tinted veil but couldn’t find it anymore. I saw this and thought I would give it a try. I’m glad I did! This is so light and airy; very easy to apply! It doesn’t look cakey or give you that ugly mask look. It just makes me feel more confident as it has such a natural finish. It feels really good to apply. I have light skin and usually the light shades of these types of foundations still leave an off hue to my skin - not this one! I still use powder to set but the end result is a soft airbrushed effect. I just feel like I have been searching for the perfect foundation my whole life and finally found it! My only complaint would be it doesn’t like to come out of the tube sometimes and will kind of sputter out even after a rigorous shake.

I am nearing 50 and as my skin has aged, I have grown to hate foundation because of the way it accentuates fine lines and makes me look overly made up. Not anymore. This is a fantastic product, especially for those of is who like minimalist/ natural-look makeup. You do have to give your face products a few minutes to set before applying this and then give this a few minutes to set before moving on to your next face product, but most of us are used to that. People say my skin is glowing because it allows your natural glow to shine through while it evens your skin tone. Perfect balance.

This is amazing - I no longer wear layers of makeup, my skin looks natural, it takes no time to apply and the price for what you're getting is very reasonable.

Please Lord do not let them discontinue this EVER! It feels like a whipped dream going on and I stay matte nearly all day! That never happens! OMG. Love, love love it!

I have been a Maybelline user for years and most of the time very satisfied. I purchased this, yesterday, tried it today and nothing positive on it. The product came out like a paste. I tried to apply it but it kind of just rolled up into a mess. That being said. I will be returning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try out this Age Rewind Instant Perfector. I have now been using it for about a month everyday. I see no difference in my skin, which is a plus because I'm very sensitive to alot of products. It is very light and soft going on. However, it doesn't give me any coverage, or even any kind of better look. Unfortunately, Ive been using that and then my normal makeup on top. I Unfortunately wouldn't recommend this product.

It has enough coverage to conceal the redness I have on my face, but doesnt have a heavy, thick feel to it. It goes on so smooth, and blends in quick and easy. I was concerned that the matte would leave my skin feeling and looking dry, but I did not have that at all. It definitely gives a mattified finish, but it is a smooth look to the skin rather than the dry look some products can get. Wearing this, I didnt find that I had to touch up, or even blot oils away through the day as I usually would. The one thing I wish was better is the lasting power. It didn't last even 6 hours for me before it started to break up and look kind of yucky. That is not a deal breaker for me, as I dont often need my makeup to last much longer than that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this product! The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Matte Makeup was the perfect addition to my makeup collection. Upon application it completely smoothed out my complexion. It has a very velvety and light texture making it a summer staple. I even wore it to the gym to test how well it would hold up under extremely sweaty conditions and it performed really well. Unlike traditional matte foundations where your skin feels really tight and dry, this makeup feels very light and airy- almost as if you're wearing nothing! It also looks undetectable. I would recommend this product if you're looking for a light coverage but an even complexion. The claims of the shade adjusting technology do appear to be true. I originally received a medium shade but felt it was too light at first, now I believe the medium would be a perfect winter the shade. Upon first application I felt medium deep would be too dark considering it stood out noticeably when I first applied it. After a few minutes of wear it appears to match my skin tone well, perfect for after a summers day tan. If you have drier skin I would recommended applying a moisturizer before wearing this because the texture of the product could cause it to stick to dry patches in an unflattering manner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I put this on my face it kept rolling and gumming up. Think eraser bits on paper. I cannot use my daily retinol serum under it or certain moisturizers because that's what causes this. I stopped playing trial and error to see what was causing it because every time it got messed up I had to rewatch my face and reapply makeup.
