Hate the mascara but love the wand?

I have mixed feelings, the formula feels so heavy because it never fully dries on your lashes, so you’re left with this goopy delicate texture that’s going to clump and stick together if the slightest movement happens around your eye. Plus removing the makeup is a nightmare that will leave you with patchy eyelashes from the removal PLUS the negative effect on the overall health of your lashes too.
That being said, I love the wand design and the way your lashes look immediately after applying is exactly what lead me to use this more than one time before throwing it in the trash. But I think if you keep and THOROUGHLY wash the wand then it would be great to have paired with the NY Lash Sensation which has a WAY better formula that I’ve been more than happy with in the past.

This mascara is the most waterproof mascara I have ever experienced in my life . This mascara will not run . Not only did it make my lashes look great but I got my money’s worth on the waterproof part . Will buy again in waterproof and washable .

I usually buy the Volum' Express the Colossal WASHABLE Mascara but because they were out at the store i always go to i decided to use this one and it is the worst it LITERALLY will NOT COME OFF ive also tried everything eyey make up remover body wash face i even tried olive oil like one of the post on here suggested i was able to get off some of it with vaseline but it still feels caked on...the only recommendation i would give is to NOT USE THIS!!!

Impossible to wash off!

I have always used the non waterproof version and accidentally bought this by mistake. I went to wash it off with soap and water like I usually do and to my surprise it was not coming off my eyelashes! I washed my face for a second time and again nothing! It felt like the mascara was glued to my lashes. It wouldn’t budge! I tried dawn dish soap and still nothing. Eventually I had to try olive oil which I ended up googling and that started to remove it but it still not all the way off. Do not purchase this! I also lost some lashes from it.

I bought this a while ago but never really used it until a few weeks ago. I went to Six Flags: Great America with this mascara on. I had an anxiety attack on top of Giant Drop, I was crying my eyes out, but this mascara stayed in place! It was also raining that day, and I went on the American Eagle WHILE it was raining, but nothing came off! I went to the bathroom after and my eyelashes were still the same as I left with. This mascara is amazing! Although, it is very hard to take off, which I like! This is a little clumpy, but still a 5/5 for me! Definitely recommend!

Absolute favourite mascara of all time. I'm on my second tube and I've got spares now too! I love how this doesn't dry up in the tube for a waterproof mascara, I can actually get 3 months out of it instead of the usual 1 month from others.
I have straight eyelashes that don't hold a curl except with waterproof formulas and this one is perfect. No flaking or crunchy feeling and it layers well. I can actually bend my lashes forward with this and they'll just spring back to how I curled and set them.
Please keep this mascara in waterproof for as long as possible, repeat purchaser here!

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and really like the way it looks on my lashes, but even after I take off my makeup my lashes are textured and gooey. I’ve tried different remover products but I feel like my lashes are never 100% product free. I will be trying the washable version of this product to see if it has the same gunky texture.

This mascara is actually impossible to wash off.
I should never have gotten waterproof because that’s exactly what this is. The product was so hard to remove even with washing my face, a makeup wipe and micellur water that as I took it off, it pulled some of my eyelashes out!!! And I was being so careful. I got this product because of a beauty influencers reference and I would suggest saving your money or getting a high end mascara. It also clumped and dried hard and crusty on my lashes.

I love this mascara!! It doesnt clump at all, it adds volume AND length and it stays on all day. It also holds the curl in my lashes all day as well! It really looks like im wearing false lashes when I use this mascara. My only gripe is I wish this came in a glam black or blackest black shade!! Please maybelline, offer this in a blacker shade because I like my mascara as black as possible! I would give a 5/5 if this was offered in a blacker shade! *begs*

Bold Lashes that Won't Budge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mascara makes some pretty big claims, but for the most part, they are lived up to. With one coat, this mascara makes a noticeable difference, but doesn't instant provide the results I'm aiming for, though this mascara is very build-able. In the picture attached, you can see the result I got after about 3 coats. Waterproof mascara is usually not my go to because it is so difficult to remove, and this mascara was no exception when used alone. At the end of the day, I had no flaking or smudging, which was great, but I did have to work pretty hard to remove all of the mascara. I suggest layering this over another non-waterproof mascara to be more careful on your lashes and have an easier time removing it. Overall, this mascara was great for it's affordability and for being drugstore. I'm happy with the results and I will definitely continue using it to add volume to my lashes and to keep my bottom lashes from smudging. I received this Maybelline Colossal Big Shot complimentary for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.

Great Bold Lashes that Last...and Last...and Last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be the first to admit I was a bit skeptical about trying this mascara after using only super high end mascaras for nearly 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised! This has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras for its ability to separate, curl, thicken, and lengthen my lashes. I use Latisse and often find that I get mascara transfer just below my eyebrow. This maracara does not transfer. The waterproof formula is extremely long wear. I did have to be a little more aggressive to remove it. I don't think I would get the waterproof formula again (I've never been someone who has had a need for a waterproof formula) but I will definitely be purchasing the regular formula in the future. I received Maybelline Colossal Big Shot free/complimentary for testing purposes, but all opinions are your own.
