Not the same mascara it used to be!

I have been using the Colossal waterproof mascara for
many years and I loved it. I purchase it in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I give this mascara a 1 star review because the last
three times Ive bought it, Ive noticed a significant
change in the quality of the product. This is not even close to
the Colossal mascara Ive used in the past. It doesnt apply to lashes thickly anymore,
it is no longer totally waterproof, it doesnt last all day, it flakes off
and if I rub my eye it sticks to my face but not my lashes. The formulation has obviously changed
and now Ill be changing brands.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I can hardly see to type this review. I gave 1 star only to write this. I purchased this mascara and after I applied it and my eyes immediately started burning. I've been wearing make up for 30 years and never has a mascara affected me like this. Its been 40 minutes since removal of and yes still burning.

I use the colossal waterproof mascara ( yellow bottle) and I saw this new 36hr one and decided to give it a try, well it doesn't hold the curl on my lashes I had to recurl my lashes every 30 mins. What a hassle! And the brush on my bottle is nothing like the one pictured here.

I really like the application and brush. It looks very nice when first applied, but after a few hours it starts to run just a little, especially when wearing a mask and concealer under the eyes. My eyes are very runny and this is the best mascara I’ve tried so far, but I would still like one that doesn’t run when wearing a mask. would not reccomend to anyone who uses a lot of concealer under their eyes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit disappointed with Colossal 36hr Mascara. I did not like the brush. It just seems too soft. I had to use a lot of pressure to get the brush through my lashes and then I had product on my orbital bone and up to my eyebrows from trying to get the tips of my lashes. I also was hoping for better volume with a single coat. I wish the brush would've been better and I might have liked it much more than I did. There was a little flaking after a couple of applications to get the volume and coverage that I like. I was hoping for more.

This is our most hardworking waterproof mascara and it should deliver bold lashes that last. Ophthalmologist tested and suitable for contact lens wearers. We are sorry to it was not easy for you to remove. While its made to hold on to the lashes even when wet, a bi-phase waterproof makeup remover (like a micellar water for waterproof makeup) will let you glide the mascara off with no tugging.

I chose the color "Very Black" and waterproof because I have light colored eyelashes, thin lashes, and absolutely no volume! This mascara is so much better than I expected, the mega brush gave me ALL of the volume without any clumps! I legitimately wore a certain look for OVER 36 hours and this mascara never smudged or flaked! This product is budget friendly and way better than department store high-priced mascaras that I've purchased in the past. It's unlike a lot of waterproof mascaras, whereas it's SO easy to remove when you're done! This mascara is my new go-to product and I will be purchasing again and again!

It's waterproof and doesn't smear or flake like other products. It definitely adds volume to my lashes, making them "pop", and they look really full.
