The wand is of poor quality. I used the wand once straight out of the package and it was fine but the next morning when I pulled the wand out of the tube it was a 90-degree angle and impossible to use.

Live the formula and the size of the brush. But ergonomically the brush is awful and way too flimsy. It is so flimsy it oddly shapes once you pull it out of the tube and is impossible to get it to angle right onto ones eyelashes. I tried.

The first day I opened and used the product was fine. The next day after the wand stayed inside the tube for a while, when I pulled it out the end of the wand with with bristles was completed malformed and unusable.(see pictures) It is clear that the wand doesn't fit in the tube properly and has to bend and unfortunately does not return to normal shape after being in the tube for a while. I'm not sure how this product passed Quality Inspection but it needs to be removed from store shelves.

The brush is so flimsy that it gets completely deformed after putting it in the bottle. No matter what I do, the brush isnt sturdy enough to push through the makeup, and always comes out totally useless....

I was really excited for this product since my eyelashes have zero volume and curl on their own. The wand is too curled and difficult to use. I have also been really careful putting the wand back in, but it has only curled more since my first use. It was a waste of money for me.

The wand is flimsy and started to bend the first time I used it, no matter how carefully I tried to put it in the tube. The 90* angle makes it near impossible to use, and the mascara goes on clumpy. Very disappointed in this product.

I just bought this, glad to have found a comb style brush. But first use the wand is bent at an impossible angle, and the product is thick and clumpy. This is the worst mascara I have ever bought - and we are talking over several decades.
And really - you have to input your age to leave a review? Your marketing research team needs help too.

The earliest complaint about a defective wand was 8 months ago, and it’s still weird now. What happened?? I’ve only had this mascara for a week and it’s bonkers, the wand is at practically a 90 degree angle and impossible to brush conveniently with. In fact, it actually bent and contorted right as I pulled the wand out of the container during my second use. So mangled!!

For optimal application, we suggest to first use inner curve to reach the roots of lashes, then sweep fanning curved brush from the root to tip of lashes for volume. Pro tip: Do not let mascara dry in between coats! We hope this was helpful!

This is the worst mascara I've ever tried! The wand is bent in a permanent U shape, is extremely flimsy, and the mascara is very dry and doesn't't stick to your lashes. What a disappointment. After two attempts, it went right in the garbage. Even though I have been a loyal Maybelline customer for years, never again will I purchase a Maybelline mascara.

I bought this yesterday, just put the wand in the tube and took it out to use it but it already bent. I still tried applying it but I could feel how flimsy it was with the application. I did one coat and went to my other eye, after I pulled the wand out again it was even more bent. Now it is permanently bent to the side and I can't get it to bend back no matter how hard I try. So I just threw the flimsy wand away and replaced it with the wand from my old, regular Lash Sensational mascara (my fave) because I need new mascara today and don't want to go to the store and spend another almost $8. Great idea, really bad execution.

I agree the brush is impossible to use. It gets bent the first time in the tube. I like Maybelline products, but this one is not for me.

I used to love this mascara. But the last two times I have bought it the brush does some weird thing. I bought one last week and one yesterday and still the same thing! Why did you change the brush ?!?!

Wand got bent and twisty after one use

I liked this quite a bit the first time I used it, but when I went to use it a second time, the wand had bent in the tube, far beyond the curve that it came with. Each time I pulled it out of the tube, the wand was more bent and misshapen, making the mascara unusable. Too bad, because I liked it otherwise.

I should have listened to some of the other reviews about the wand bending. I liked the how the mascara looked on my lashes but the second day when I went to use it, the wand was completely bent which made it impossible to apply. Very disappointed... I can’t believe Maybeline hasn’t addressed this issue.

Lifts My Straight Lashes!

Got tired of curling my lashes with a curler not wide enough for my eyes. This lifts my lashes and they stay all day, and I don’t have to use waterproof! 4 stars because I’m still getting the hang of the wand. When I get in a hurry I get mascara on my lids just above my lash line.
