Comparing it to the ultra liner

This eyeliner was suggested to me. I was told it was similar to the ultra liner that was recently discontinued. I had been using ultra liner for 30 plus years. The tattoo liner has less product in it. It does have a shine to it that the ultra liner does not have. It is not as durable and it cracks as the day goes on. The applicator is not a brush. It kind of skips on my skin when I'm applying it. I hope this helps someone that is desperately trying to find a replacement for the ultra liner like I am.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this eyeliner for almost 6 years. It does not smudge or smear. It stays on for as long as it says and when you need to take it off it comes off easily. I love this eyeliner so so much and have stayed loyal in my purchases. Please never discontinue it!!

I bought this one a month ago and I feel so disappointed. Even for the first few times, the ink inside is solidified and became gel-like pieces. And it’s not a smooth one.
It just looks like I have opened it for ages and dried out.

I got this eyeliner because I thought it would be perfect for my makeup looks, band at first it was good! But after I applied, the eyeliner got all clumpy and melted onto my eyelashes, which I thankfully could peel off, because this product is flakey! But the applicator is really good, and the color is amazing!!

Recently I forgot all my makeup products at home, in hopes of getting an eyeliner that would do the basic for a week, I decided to buy the tattoo studio 36 hours liquid eyeliner, when I tell you it lasted maybe 5 hrs, 2 days in a roll, sad overall. Not even 10 second best bet would have made this product better.

I'd used many eyeliners over the past 20 years and this is by far hands down the most horrible liquid eyeliner I'd used. Please pull this off the shelf. You shouldn't be selling it.
It's clumpy and really hard to draw and glide on a line without being jagged around the edges. Why is it so clumpy?? Waste of money buying this.

i’ve been using this eyeliner for nearly a year now and it’s my go to, the dark henna brown compliments my eyes so much and i love it so much but recently (the last week or so) i went to buy a new one as i normally would but it was so watery and the colour barley showed up, i thought maybe it was just the shop i bought it at so i went a few days later to get a new one elsewhere and same problem. it’s like putting water paint onto a paper and the consistency is the same too. i’m not sure if it’s a new sample but please bring the old one, i beg 🙏🙏

Worst liquid eye liner, it says sweat resistant… no true, it says 36h… no true, it was so humid outside that 15 minutes later I was sweating like crazy and guess what peeled off like a sticker… my eyeliner. Not a happy Floridian.

This eyeliner has got to be one of the most disappointing things I’ve spent money on. It peels off, creases, blink wrong and it messes up. I absolutely hate this eyeliner. The only good thing about this eyeliner is that it’s very well pigmented. It is not smudge proof AT ALL and it DEFINITELY does NOT last up to 36 hours. I do not recommend. Very disappointed ; I expected more, especially for a price like that.

This eyeliner is the best one I’ve tried so far. Reasonable price, easy application, lasts all day (even in the heat). I’m someone who has hooded eyes and oily eyelids and I’ve struggled with eyeliner in the past because it will disappear within hours of wear. But this eyeliner lasts all day and easily comes off with standard makeup remover. 10/10 would recommend!

this is the worst eyeliner I've ever used, it sticks to the applicator and peels up like tape. I dropped it from a 2 foot drop in the container completely broke. This is a WORST eyeliner do not buy it.

I've have bought several of these products with nothing but frustration. How do you get more product without having to pry off the cap and shoving a bobby pin up it and hope you don't push too hard. After opening and trying this eyeliner out I was disappointed when I realized it wasn’t what was expected, it was clumpy and not dark at all . I’m not sure if it’s an old product but it definitely isn’t what it claims to be .

First time i used it kind fo hard to apply but managed.
Second time it was harder to apply because it was clumpy. And it came off real easily.
Third and last time i tried to apply eye liner was more like applying a dried up year old eye liner.
I won't be recommending this product.

I love love Maybelline makeup. I've been using it since I was a teenager. This eyeliner however is horrible. I couldn't figure it out for the longest time because of it's rubbery weird consistency. Even if you try to go over a spot to correct it all of the liner pulls up. If you have lash extensions, oh dear god don't use this. If it gets in the lashes it makes a huge mess and clumps your lashes all together..good luck with that. Most of my extensions came out after trying to get this goo out of them. $$

When I bought this product, I was learning to use liquid eyeliner and I thought all the liquid eye liners are this sticky and glue like. After tried many other eyeliner, I realized how weird this product was. It dries out super quickly. The only good thing about this eyeliner is that if you are practicing drawing eyeliners, you can remove it easily, without makeup remover. You can just peal it like a glue.

I AM TERRIBLE AT WASHING MY MAKEUP OFF SO I JUST REAPPLY EVERY MORNING UNTIL I FULLY SHOWER & WASH MY HAIR. THIS EYELINER WIPES RIGHT OFF IN THE SHOWER IN ONE SWIPE WITHOUT SMUDGING ALL OVER. IT DRIES NICELY. I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES CLUMPING IN THE BOTTLE OR ON MY EYE. IF YOU MESS UP YOUR LINER, IT IS SUPER EASY TO FIX. I LOVE IT.

Worst eyeliner I’ve ever tried

I’m genuinely confused with the good reviews this eyeliner has. I genuinely HATE it. I’ve been trying to make it work for the past two weeks and I just can’t. It’s a weird rubber like formula. If you go over it just once it clumps up and pulls off chunks of the eyeliner like a glue. Even if I do get a nice clean line with one swipe, when I put my mascara on, if any eyeliner touched my lashes, the mascara wand pulls the eyeliner right off. After a few uses, it dried out in the bottle and is all clumpy. Just awful. I’m annoyed every time I try to do my makeup now and end up having to start over. This is going on the trash and I wouldn’t use it again if it was the last eyeliner on earth .

One of the worst liquid eyeliners ever, it does not stay on and the tiny amount that does stay on literally peels off.

I bought this eyeliner because I do love Maybelline and for summer I wanted something that would last through water/sweat/my hectic days and this eyeliner does not live up to the expectations. It crumbles, you can’t apply over the products because it gets gross, and it definitely doesn’t even last me a day of lounging at home. Will never purchase again.

Their eyeliner goes on smooth does not smudge and seems to be water resistant I love the product best I have ever used. The down side is the packaging there is no way to rise what is left in the container to the top and it comes into a plastic container so when you sharpen it it continues to break off. Even though I love the product the packaging is enough for me not to purchase again very disappointed in Maybelline they did not think their packaging through you need to pay attention to detail.
