This is one of my favorite eyeliners. I’m suprised I don’t see it more. The application is easy. The liner can easily be fixed with a Q-tip if you make a mistake when first applying and stays on all day, which is hard to come by.

I have used this liner for years and simply love the ease of use, the depth of color, and how the size of the tube fits well in my fingers. I want to try the brown option but its being sold for almost twice the price as the black, and I don't understand the high difference in price between the two colors.

I’ve had to switch to the similar L’Oréal eyeliner pencil only because they include a well fitting sharpener. This product says “no sharpener needed”. But it does need sharpening and does not apply well when the tip is not pointed. Very strange design.

This eye pencil is horrible. I read the directions thoroughly & followed them to the letter. I applied eyeliner to one eye & when I swapped to the other eye, the fine tip broke off. I continued to apply without the fine tip & the entire piece of color broke off. I got 1/2 use out of it before the whole thing was broken.

There is barely any color payoff and very hard to apply. The packaging is okay and good to hold but it just does not apply unless you push hard, which I don’t want to hurt my eyes trying to get this product to work.

I think this is your best eyeliner. I have tried many of your eyeliners, and this is the best, by far. Too bad I cannot find it in Walmart anymore, I don't know what is going on. My favorite is the brown. I bought some of these pencils and gave them as gifts to my sisters, in Costa Rica, and all of them felt in love with this product. I knew they would! :)

terrible! i have no idea why, but this smudges, and leaves me looking like if have black circles under my eyes, this is supposed to be waterproof, so it shouldnt move.... i bought two of these, what a mistake!!!!

I have used this eyeliner for over a year now ON my lower lid, along lower lash line and occasionally smudge it on upper lid.
I love that it is so soft and doesn’t hurt being applied as so many “ harder” eyeliner pencils do while still giving intense color.
Many eyeliners ( gels ) make my eyes tear all day. Not so with this liner.
i noticed many customers complained about this product smudging. I suggest they but a skinny hard type pencil or stop rubbing their eyes. The only time I get raccoon eyes is if I sleep with it on and the next morning yes, it is smudged but I’d expect that.
Please Maybelline, do not discontinue this eyeliner . And please make the green and purple colors available again. I am so sorry when I originally bought this liner that I only chose black, navy and brown to purchase.

I bought this a few years ago at the drugstore in a brown shade and I loved it. It goes on smooth, it’s easy to control and you can smudge it if you want. I have been looking at the stores where I shop for at least a year and could never find the brown again, only black. I finally came here to look and I am so glad to see you have it! Please don’t stop making this. It is a keeper for sure. Thank you!

I cannot seem to find this eyeliner anymore. I am reviewing it in an effort to stop Maybelline from discontinuing it. This is the only one I use, and I put it in the Christmas stockings of all my girls. It glides on easily, and gives a decent line and color, unlike the ones I've tried that don't even show. The pencil lasts forever.
I've never had a problem with it breaking, but I do use an eye primer to stop it from running.

I purchased this product yesterday. I was so happy to try it on that I couldn't wait to get home and put it on. Yes, it does go on very smooth, comfortable, and bold. But an hour later I went to check it in the mirror and saw that it had smudged under my eyes like I had two black eyes. I was so embarrassed! I used a piece of tissue and a dab of water to clean it off, which proved the waterproofing to be a lie. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement! I felt like I had wasted my money. ☹

Out of all the eyeliners I use this is the only one that burns my eyes. It’s unbearable and I couldn’t leave it on if my eyes watered for any reason. It’s really smooth and lines great. But unfortunate, it burns too bad to use it.

Has this eyeliner for a day, it broke the first time I used it even though I followed instructions very carefully and used it sideways. Buyer beware.

I decided to give this eyeliner a try because the packaging boasted that it was smudge proof and lasted a super long time. This is absolutely NOT true. Within one hour (not exaggerating) this eyeliner had smudged all over my eyes, raccoon-style. Terrible. I used this product one time and tossed it out.

I have been using this product for several months now and I'm pleased with it. I have used liquid and pencil and have not been happy with those. Those products, suppose to be waterproof, causes severe irritation of the eyes, when wearing my contacts. Whereas, I can wear Kajal eyeliner and have relief. Its easy to put on and off. The only concern I have is keeping a point on it. I have used several make-up sharpeners along with pencil sharpeners, and haven't had any success. Other than that, I recommend it.

I bought this because I thought it was similar to the master duo and the store I usually buy my make up from seemed to be out or not carrying the master duo. Big mistake it's been smudging ever since I put it on. I typically use liquid because it doesn't run or spread. I won't use this again.

This is by far the smoothest and most precise eyeliner pen out there. I can get the tiniest and sharpest line to the biggest and most dramatic wing/line. Liquid liner tends to be very wet and if u close or blink on accident before it dries u ruin the look - this does not happen with this pen. I love it so much that i bought the pen in all different colors (online because most stores only carry black). I bought sapphire, purple and gold I am also going to buy Gray and brown when I can find it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I thought this product was amazingly cool - no mess & easy application. Sadly, after 30 minutes of it on, I noticed a thick smudged around the bottom of my eyes. Made it look like I had been crying, or got sloppy drunk the night before. I won't be using this anymore.

I purchased this new waterproof eyeliner to take on a cruise with me. I opened the package and went to apply it and it broke in half and fell in the sink. So disappointed.

I used the eyeliner only once, and the product broke off, liked it the first time, like the consistency. However, don't want to pay for a product that breaks off the second I use it.

I love it! It last all day for me! I wear my eye makeup bold and it works wonderfully for me. Use light pressure, mine is a lil stub now to I use a brush to get it out.. I'd buy it again
