I’ve using this for years and this is the only product that suits my sensitive skin and I never encounter any problems in the past. The porcelain ivory is my favorite and I get a lot of compliments on my younger looking skin despite my age. So please Maybelline, if you completely phased this out, can you give an alternative. I’m not into liquid foundation. Thanks

I’ve tried many different foundations but this one is wonderful. It covers my rosacea and makes my pores look smaller. People always tell me what great skin I have when I wear it. It’s been harder to find though, hopefully it’s not being phased out!

Heartbroken over Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse being discontinued — I’ve been using it for 25 years, since before I even had kids, back when I was still someone’s daughter! Now I’m a mom of three, and everyone still says I have “baby skin” — all thanks to this product that perfectly covers up my imperfections. I just found out it’s being discontinued, and I’m truly devastated! I really hope it’s only getting new packaging or an improved formula and will be back on the shelves soon. Forever your loyal fan!

I absolutely love the matte mousse foundation!! I’ve been using this product for 15+ years….literally! It’s honestly the best. I always get compliments on my face that it looks smooth and natural like if I don’t have anything on and honestly that’s a win. I love Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. I have used it for a number of years and always get compliments on my makeup. Sometimes though I find it hard to find in the retail stores especially in my favorite shade Classic Ivory. Please never stop making this makeup. I don't know what I'd do without it. Also, I have very sensitive skin and this makeup does not irritate my skin at all.

I loooove this product! I have been using this for over 25 years! I have even swayed people from using their much higher priced cosmetics! If you discontinue, please send them all my way!!! I’m still trying to get used to the FitMe powder after the translucent loose was discontinued. I’m not into cosmetics, I just know how to do my face which is complimented regularly. All I say is, it’s Maybelline, and they scoff and then I’m giving them the details and pics of the product! Haha

I LOVE this foundation - after avoiding it for years, I tried it after seeing a glowing review with the foundation applied with a stippling brush. And I whole heatedly agree - this wears on me BEAUTIFULLY! I love the soft matte finish, and it never breaks down on my skin like most liquid and cream foundations I've tried. This has become my most used foundation. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the shade range - it's pathetic! I'm not the lightest skinned person, but the lightest shade is much too dark for me. I broke down recently and mixed in some melted white cream foundation. Not a perfect solution, it's obviously alerted the formula a bit, but it works. The deepest shade available is equally as disappointing. I know this can be approved on, this has been on the market for how long now?

This is THE BEST FOUNDATION. Hands down! I have sensitive, acne prone skin and am in my mid 40’s. This stuff magically blurs my pores, lasts all day long and doesn’t clog my pores. Please please please don’t discontinue it!!!!

Started using this foundation more than 10 years ago and have yet to find anything that goes on smoother or covers better. It also lasts a really long time and a little goes a long way. Love this stuff and haven’t found anything similar by any other brands. Everything is either powder, liquid, or cream, but nobody else seems to make mousse. This is the best foundation. I don’t always wear full coverage makeup, but when I wear this people always compliment me on what pretty skin I have.

People really tear this foundation down. No one knew how to apply it correctly back in the day -- nor were the girls I know adept at matching their skin tones. WELL IT'S 2025! AND THIS STUFF -- when matched to your skin tone and applied in light layers with a flat foundation brush -- IS THE BEST, MOST NATURAL FOUNDATION OUT THERE! Please don't discontinue Dream Matte Mousse! C'mon I know there are other fans out there. Leave a whole bunch of 5 star reviews and perhaps Maybelline will reconsider?

This is the best foundation me and my friends have ever tried, we have been using it a lifetime. We have bought others from very expensive brands, different kinds but this one is easy to apply. Love Light Beige. Have used this product since it came out (I'm old, lol). While I use covergirlOlay foundation around my eyes, I've always used Maybelline's mousse on the rest of my face, even if I've used tinted moisturizer or tinted sunblock underneath my foundation. This formula just somehow keeps a person looking ageless. I reuse the glass pot, when it's empty, for other things, nothing is wasted, totally recyclable.
Some people use a sponge to apply but I use either stippling or contour brush to dab it on until everything is blended and I look airbrushed. (Yes, I've tried a motorized airbrush makeup but it takes 20 minutes to put on; Mousse's coverage is better and faster to apply). Dot on a little at a time and then, as needed, buff/blend until you're happy with the effect.
If CG and Maybelline discontinue these products, we WILL be picketing corporate headquarters. :)

Pretty good as I remember from 2004 good solid coverage, sits on face pretty well. The only thing I don’t remember it being dry and chunky, did I get a bad product? It seems when I scoop some product up and wipe it on my face then use a brush to blend so much flakes off?

I finally found my Holy Grail foundation! I’ve tried so many foundations over the years. I have textured/combination skin. This foundation makes my skin look blurred and smooth. It makes my large pores almost invisible. I’m usually a greasy mess after 2 hours but I went 12 hours without a touch up! It made my blush last all day too. Please don’t ever discontinue this product!

Hands down the BEST matte foundation on the market to date! (writing this in 2024) I’m a Gen Z who never wanted to try the older products because when my older sister did her makeup in the early 2000’s she looked horrible, now I know it wasn’t the products fault. I was recently on a trip where I ran out of my favorite matte foundation and needed to stop by a small town convenience store where this was the only foundation left in my shade so I figured better this than nothing. To my surprise this has become my new favorite every day foundation and I refuse to give it up for the world! All my fellow young people who haven’t tried it yet, try it! All the people around my sister’s age who used it wrong, try it again. It’s simply the best! (Please please please never stop making this)
